Manscaping Part 1: Wax On, Wax Off
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 12:34AM I was recently in my dermatologist's waiting room where I met a hetero - or rather metro - guy who was there to get laser hair removal. I didn’t ask where. This got me thinking about manscaping. Women have always been obsessed with personal grooming – from manicures and pedicures to bikini waxes and facial. But, now male grooming is more popular than ever. Is it just in ego-centric cities like Los Angeles, or is it happening everywhere? I once had boyfriend who would rather look like an old man than let me trim one errant brow hair. You would think I was performing open-heart surgery on him without anesthetic by the look on his face. The way I see it, if I'm gonna spend $60 a month on waxing (everything), the least a guy can do is trim. That kind of "manly" just isn't sexy.

Been "manscaping" for years ... thought it was de-rigueur in SoCal.
